Even if you not interested in arts, this tour is useful to get the general knowledge and understanding both of the Uffizi Gallery, one of the greatest art galleries in the world, and the history of art. For many years the Medici family collected the works of art which were left to the city of Florence in the 18th century by Anna Maria Luisa de’ Medici, the last descendant of the House of Medici. This tour  focuses on a dozen or so important paintings in the gallery and aimed at giving you a general understanding of how the art of painting developed in the world.

The tour itself lasts approximately two hours, but we might have to spend some time queuing to enter the gallery.

The price shown is for the whole tour, not per person. It doesn’t include the price of any entry tickets.

How many people can go on this tour?

Up to 6 people is fine, but a larger group would require radio earpieces, which would add approximately 4 Euros per head to the price of the tour.
