I suppose it’s nice to know a few things about a person with whom you are going to spend a day or two, so here goes.
I used to be a radio design engineer and worked in different countries in Europe and in China. Then I’ve decide to pursue a completely different career and turned my interest in history, art and architecture into a career. At the time I was living in London and was lucky to be accepted on a two-year course curated by the British Institute of Tourist Guiding. I qualified in 2011 as a Blue Badge Guide which is the highest guiding qualification you can get in Britain. Later on I did a similar course in Florence, so I’m qualified and registered to guide in both London and Florence. I’m still undecided if I should call London a “Big Florence” or Florence a “Little London” :). Both cities are so full of life, events and culture and I still spend part of my year in London.
